Ok so first things first, lets deal with relationships. I figured since I am getting married in November, that I would focus the first few blog posts on relationships.
Now everyone who's ever been in a relationship knows that they take work right? Right! What they don't teach anyone is how much harder it is to keep a relationship going when its meant to be.
When I was younger, I would dream about the day I would meet mister right, you know prince charming. He would be tall, dark, and handsome. He would have lots of money, and would treat me like a princess, and I could have anything I ever wanted!....However, such man does not exist. At least not in my world. I think sometimes we as females get so caught up in what we THINK should be or what society THINKS should be that we sabotage relationships, or possible connections with men. When I first met my fiance, I was so wrapped up in the romance and sparks that I lost track of reality. As you've heard the saying "The honeymoon is over" and when all the sparks and razzle dazzle faded, so did we. I got so caught up in the fairytale moment that I actually believed that it would be like this forever. NEWS FLASH, life is NOT a fairytale, especially love. Its hard and confusing, and extremely stressful. But at the same time, love is so beautiful. Its all worth it in the end. Nothing worth fighting for comes easy. Just remember that, no matter what happens its just you and him until the end.

My fiance and I met in high school. No we were not high school sweet hearts, but we were friends. I knew him through some friends and I never thought anything of him except he was a pretty laid back guy with shaggy brown hair, and who listened to loud music. The summer of my senior year, he was back from college and we saw each other at the pool. It was just nice to see him again, since he had graduated the year before me, you know, I just  thought it would be nice to catch up. We talked from like 4pm til 10pm that night. We made plans to hang out the next day at the pool. Still, nothing romantic or anything, just friends hanging out. But a few days later feelings changed, and we've been together ever since. The journey here has been very very long. We have been through just about everything. Now we are about to embark on another, much more serious journey.....MARRIAGE<3
